Post 137 American Legion Riders

The American Legion Riders (ALR) Post 137 proudly serves as a nonprofit veterans subgroup of American Legion Post 137 in Jamestown, Tennessee. As a family-oriented motorcycling program, we are honored to carry forward the mission, spirit, and patriotic values of The American Legion while welcoming eligible members of The American Legion, The American Legion Auxiliary, and the Sons of The American Legion.

What do American Legion Riders do? We proudly ride in service to veterans, our community, and our country. Our activities are far too many to list, but they include supporting local and national charity events, fundraisers, and service projects sponsored by American Legion Posts. Legion Riders raise funds for worthy causes such as local VA hospitals, battered women’s and children’s centers, youth programs, veterans’ relief efforts, needy families, and many others. We also helped establish the national “Patriot Guard” movement, honoring our fallen heroes and helping protect the dignity of military funerals and memorial services. Most importantly, we ride our motorcycles with pride, fellowship, and purpose—to enjoy the open road, strengthen camaraderie, and support the community we are proud to call home.
